AC Milan Away Days

A night at the San Siro is on every fan's list, and the red-and-black half of Milan delivers spine-tingling European nights. We pair cheap flights to Milan with match tickets so you can finally tick it off.

Stadium & matchday

AC Milan share the San Siro — officially the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza — with Inter, so on most weekends one of the two is at home. It's one of the great European grounds, a towering three-tier bowl reached by the M5 metro's San Siro Stadio stop. The rossoneri fill the Curva Sud behind the goal.

Getting there & planning

Milan has three airports — Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio — so fares from the UK and Ireland are usually competitive. Trains and coaches link all three to the centre, with Linate the quickest transfer. The city's own metro then carries you out to San Siro on matchday with little fuss.

The city beyond the football

Beyond the football, Milan is Italy's capital of fashion and design, home to the Gothic Duomo, the glass-roofed Galleria and Leonardo's Last Supper. The Navigli canals are the spot for an evening drink. Lake Como is close enough for a day trip if you're building a longer stay around the game.
